For one thing, it was too early in the month for the landlord's usual shenanigans, and he usually never apologized on behalf of certain residents. Why would he, if he was the one bringing them here in the first place?

All he knows is that someone familiar with Italy has sent the cake. Cake...

I'm not sure if you were aware of it, but the landlord had sent out a list of dares to the residents and if they were complicated, you could regain something (or meet him). The caveat was, of course, that you could not discuss why you were doing what you were doing.

Because how many folks wear a cravat on a normal day nowadays? And she felt a bit bad about the jester thing… So, he gets a small box with a pair of vintage cufflinks inside. The attached note just says, “Merry Christmas, from Lily.”]

Let's just say the block probably heard the sound of his temper snapping. Actually he does step outside and finds himself enveloped in toilet paper on the way out to see the damage. Once that's done, he spots the message on the door and his blood boils even further. He decides to send an angry text message to the only suspect.]

Unfortunately, it was ruined this morning by a vandal. I don't suppose you have any idea who covered my house in toilet paper while I slept?
