[Edgeworth stares at her hand on the wall. He flinches when he hears the dragon roar its frustration, and...hoo boy, they really shouldn't stick around.]
Lead the way. [His voice carries a note of urgency.]
[Shiho forces herself to be calm, especially because she can hear the urgency in his voice. She knew the turns and all the traps that were coming up, and they needed her thinking objectively and carefully.]
Keep up.
[But even with each trap they pass, she waits for him and is careful to make sure that he can pass the trap without hurting himself.]
It narrows up ahead.
[It wasn't wide enough for the dragon to pass, hopefully they could lose it there unless ViViD tried to throw anything else at them.]
[On the bright side, apart from his tone of voice, Edgeworth doesn't panic or scream or suddenly run recklessly away.
Instead, Edgeworth does his best to keep up, and says nothing more as he tails her. So far, he's doing well at this game of follow the leader. When the way narrows, he automatically stoops down and keeps his arms to his sides.]
[That's the one bright point in all of this: that he's not screaming and running, (and in Shiho's opinion) wasting the precious air he could have used in running instead.
The narrower passage opens up into another corridor, leaving the dragon to try to claw through the passage. The wall holds though, and it's left angry, its tail swishing with a crack against the ground.
Shiho keeps her hands against the wall, only relaxing and leaning into the wall when it moves on. There isn't any other close way to get to them soon.]

[She lets her hand linger on the wall for a moment more, confirming their route.]
It's mostly trip wires, and pits. But anything that'll slow it down-
[The dragon bellows, clawing at the sides of the trap, pulling itself up.]
Hurry!

Thank goodness. That's one less problem to deal with.

Date: 2015-07-27 09:31 pm (UTC)Yeah, now we just have to deal with actually logging out and hope they don't throw another monster at us. That sounds easy.
[She crosses her arms, rolling her eyes and leaning against the wall.]
...You okay?
