Talk about degrading, swooning onto Edgeworth.

I think so. That wasn't exactly... well I don't know what just happened there, but I don't recommend it.

[He frowns thoughtfully and glances back at the crowd, or what's left of it; the photographers had probably spotted their next target or targets and were quick to move on. Edgeworth doesn't care; in fact, he welcomes it.]

What is the last thing you remember before blacking out? [Okay, stay calm. Ask the logical questions. Figure out what's happened. At least Mia only seemed dazed, not seriously injured or anything.]

I was trying to get away from a group of pushy photographers, someone's camera went off and the next thing I know I'm- well.

[She's looks at their current positioning and adds:]

I didn't know you had it in you to make ladies swoon at thirty paces, Edgeworth.

[Edgeworth looks away briefly and quickly stands up, extending a hand for Mia.]

O-Of course not. It must have been something else...or someone else in that throng of photographers.

[chiefdefense]

[She takes it graciously and gets to her feet, dusting herself off once she's on her feet and looking around her curiously.]

Someone who's doing something they definitely shouldn't.

[She can't help herself, she shudders slightly as she tries to get rid of the weird, hollow feeling the ordeal's left her with. It's an oddly uncomfortable sensation.]

There's something fishy about those photographers.

[prosecutory]

[Edgeworth nods in agreement - on both counts, as he surveys the photographers again. He's determined to figure out just what was so fishy.]
