[He gives her directions from the apartments to the café, his I'm-going-to-pay-for-everything-aren't-I senses tingling like mad.]

[He hangs up with that message, although he does make haste to get a table for them at said café, just near the door so Maya need not miss him.]

[Edgeworth has already learned to accept his fate. What a good Edgeworth.]

[Anyway, she shows up pretty promptly, huffing a little because she evidently made haste to get here. But as important as discussing crau shenanigans are.....]

[Food is more important. She waves when she sees him, making a beeline]

Mr. Edgeworth! Hey!

[Edgeworth looks up. That didn't take long...but wow, she looked like she hurried over.]

Ah, there you are, Maya. Have a seat. [He gestures to the empty seat directly in front of him, and once she is seated, he'll gesture for a waiter to bring them the menus.

Uh-oh.]

[Uh oh indeed. Even if she came out here with a purpose..... that won't stop her from filling the black hole known as her stomach.]

[She's momentarily distracted by the menu]

Wow, these pictures all look so great...!

[He looks up from the menu in his hands.]
