No, I haven't known her for that long...but I've met her previously, in the world I was first sent to.

It's not so much "keeping an eye on her" as it is "helping her learn how to use her powers in battle".

...And yes, a card case. [He's extremely matter-of-fact and calm.] Some people sent to this world were given the ability to transform into Weapons, or items imbued with powers that aided the rest of us.

I assume anyone drawn into that world would be given some sort of power. I encountered many people from home, although some of their powers remain a mystery.

Huh. Such an odd place. It's weird to think about it, but it really would be handy to have powers in a place like this.

That would depend on the type of powers you have. Mine are most effective against beings with souls.

You can. I've fought robots before, Wright.

And I don't know how to precisely define it; I just know that the existence of souls was very integral to the world I was previously in.
