[ This is vaguely specific but it's for a good cause, okay.. Edgeworth is one of the few - if not only - morning swimmers, so if he comes in later then Nam Soon can come in later too without it being really obvious!! ]

[...That's an oddly specific demand but actually, Edgeworth can roll with it. There's just one other thing...and that's his curiosity and his tendency to press for details.]

[ There's a small pause.. this is the period where he wonders if he should tell Edgeworth the truth.. he feels like this guy is going to figure it out regardless and then lying would be embarrassing, but admitting it is embarrassing too.. great.. ]

[Since this is text, it's probably hard, if not impossible, to notice that Edgeworth isn't being mean or anything. He understands that for some people, birthdays are important. Just not for him.]
