As you can see, we're devoted to consistently providing the news to Cerealia! Some of your quotes made it to printing last issue, if you didn't quite get the chance to see it. I know, you're busy.

Listen, I thought there might be some merit in reaching out to the police department to include a written crime report in my weekly paper. You can provide details of crimes reported, possible suspects involved, places to submit further information if anyone knows anything, etc. The public gets better informed on crime, you get to solve more crime by getting the community involved, and I get to perform my civic responsibility to help keep Cerealia safe.

I don't know if you specifically have that decision power, but if you'd forward it up the ladder a little I'd appreciate it. Better yet, give me their contact info and I'll save you the call! Sss, sss, sss!

There's something I have to tell you about. You might have been expecting to hear something like this, but I was just speaking with Athena.

It involves about that conversation you intervened in. And... I have to thank you for that, first. I hadn't been checking the CereVice at that time, and I'm glad that conversation was able to end before it escalated.

But, beyond that, it made Athena curious.

It's the least I could do. Did you tell her the full story? [At least he doesn't sound annoyed or outraged - more resigned than anything. It might even make Athena more likely to be cautious around Manfred if she knew, but that doesn't mean Edgeworth has to like sharing his past with others.]

That's right. I told her everything. [It was reluctantly, of course. He knows how sensitive all of these issues are for Edgeworth. But he also knows that Edgeworth would agree that the safety of others would be more important.

We shouldn't have to worry about that. Athena can be hotheaded... but she understands the severity of this conversation. We won't have to worry about that anymore.
