It was dark...you were in a tunnel when the roller coaster stopped? But how did you know they were Santas, if it was so dark?

Well, it wasn't totally dark. There were still some lights from the ride, but all the overhead lights were out. So like...

[He does some hand gestures to accentuate his story,]

I could see flashes of 'em when they stepped in front of the lights. Believe me Edgey, I've dressed up as the guy. I am very familiar with that red getup. I know it was him.

[Another typical Larry Butz testimony. But this time, Edgeworth has no evidence to disprove anything he says, so he'll have to take his friend's word for it.]

What did you do, then?

I ducked for cover, of course!

[He says it like he obviously couldn't do anything else at the time.]

I kept as far low to the coaster as I could! But by the time the craziness started, it was all over. The coaster started up again like nothing even happened, leaving the Santas behind! It got back to the start and we all got off. Most of us had cuts and scratches but no one got super injured, as far as I know.

[Obviously his hair was a big victim but he knows when to actually be serious about real people getting injured.]

[A logical course of action, Edgeworth supposes, when you've got nothing else. Neither does he have the magatama to see Psycholocks with.]

Is that all? Did anyone try to fight back? [Surely someone would have...]

Maybe? Like I said, I was pretty much ducking the whole time so I didn't see a whole lot.

[He doesn't want to be unhelpful, but he can't really comment on what he didn't see...]

Point taken. [A shrug.] All right, so when you left, between then and now, you didn't see any more Santas?

[failures]

[He nods, rubbing at his hair again.]

That's right! I mourned my hair for a while and had a snowcone...but the only people I saw during that time were regular humans.

[prosecutory]

...You bought a snowcone after everything that happened to you?

[Leave it to Larry to think of having a snowcone at a time like this. Was the carnival food even safe?]

One of the robots outside offered me one, so...yeah. It helped a little, okay?

[WHAT DO YOU WANT HIM TO SAY EDGEY...

Obviously he's not saying anything about accepting stuff from robots when a robot just tried to kill him, that's for sure.]

And did the robot do anything else?

[Sorry, he's suspicious of the robots running the place.]

Nah, I just walked away when it gave me the snowcone. It wasn't poisoned or anything either, so I guess that robot was okay.

...I suppose you're right.

[If only that snowcone had something in it that could lessen his chances of getting in trouble.]

There are "okay" robots, in any case.
