[Edgeworth knew that case. It was the one that launched Phoenix's career; it was almost fitting, in a strange way, that he would begin by defending a friend. But this is also his first time seeing it in real time instead of reading about it in a court record. Despite Larry's failings, he was no murderer and did not deserve the charge.

Larry's blank look and lack of emotion are disturbing - but Edgeworth could see the reason why. It wasn't the same with Rapunzel, when he could not discern what had made a peppy young woman suddenly emotionless.]

I've noticed many of the memories people see in these mirrors are unpleasant, to say the least.
