It seems like it would happen all the time! And after going to the jungle and whatever was going in ViViD when I got here.

No, I'm not. But it sounds like you are.

[There is a note of worry in his voice. Everything is certainly NOT okay with people getting sick like this.]

[As he kept on sniffling, the only thing the boy could do was just mumble to himself]

T-Then you're lucky! I wish I wasn't because it really stinks! I don't want to be inside all day long! I want to go out and help people!

You wouldn't be of much use if you went out sick. You're better off resting until you're better.

I-I know. I should be sleeping and getting better. [mumble mumble] Just wish I could get better faster…

We can only do so much to help speed up your recovery.

[Especially when the illness is one that doesn't respond as readily as the typical common cold.]

Then do you have any ideas on how? I tried getting a lot of sleep but...that didn't help. And I tried to get as much medicine too but it really seems like nothing is working!

I don't really know what else to do anymore!

[And he was starting to sound really desperate here!]

Hmm...it's difficult to say. The illness doesn't seem to respond as readily as it should.

[He pauses, then - ]

Make sure you're eating.

Of course, I would be eating! If I didn't, I would be really hungry by now!

[Hmmmm] But all I had was a lot of soup though. Isn't that usually suppose to be what helps you make you feel better too?

Yes, but do try to eat something more substantial if you can.

You mean like an apple or something? I could try that too but um...

....I...haven't really eaten much outside of soup though. I'm just not very hungry lately.

Yes, an apple would be a start. Try to eat something else besides soup, little by little.

Because you must have eaten some pretty amazing stuff if you were able to jump out a window!

Yeah but it still sounds like you must have drank a lot of milk or ate some stuff that made you really strong!

It was a low window. And I was lucky that I still had enough sense to choose it rather than the higher ones.

Still! Low or not, it's still pretty cool! I'm probably going to write a story about that because it looked like you were a secret agent or a spy!
