[And Phoenix would be right. Anyway, Edgeworth gestures for Phoenix to enter the apartment. Right now it's just him, his dog, and England's flying bunny fairy.

He sighs.]

As right as they can possibly be with so many people missing. We couldn't contact any of you via CEREvice.

[bewrightback]

[Phoenix enters and absentmindedly pets the dog before he looks at Edgeworth with alarm.]

Any of... Edgeworth, who else went missing?!

[prosecutory]

[Edgeworth frowns. The flying mint-colored bunny waves his greeting to Phoenix upon emerging from the kitchen. At a nod and a look from Edgeworth, the bunny lures Pess over with a tug toy and the two of them disappear into the prosecutor's bedroom.

Before he begins counting off names on his fingers, Edgeworth gestures for Phoenix to have a seat on the couch.]

You, Franziska, Maya, Miss Cykes, Iris... [He takes a breath, not sitting down himself.] Chibi, Dipper, Rei, Yu Narukami [no Yu puns for you!!!], Steven, Hiro, Adelina, and Inaba are among the ones I know.

[Needless to say he doesn't look pleased at all with CERES' latest stunt...if this was the work of CERES.]

[Phoenix doesn't even process the wtf-ery of the flying bunny creature, because he's too distracted by the task at hand.

Phoenix goes to sit down, but he quickly stands up again, alarmed by the first few names alone. Those girls being in trouble is something that instantly worries him.]

No! Edgeworth, we... we have to find them! ...Hiro got out with me, but I had no idea that any of those other people were missing too!

[prosecutory]

Wright! Calm down!

[A few hours ago, he was saying the exact same thing to Larry. Edgeworth pinches the top of the bridge of his nose before raising his hand to his forehead. He takes a couple of deep breaths before continuing.

He wants to freak out and yell and place a scathing message in Mosley's inbox right now but none of that will bring him closer to the truth.]

We don't even know where to start...except with your long story.

[bewrightback]

[He sighs for a moment and closes his eyes as he accepts Edgeworth's objection.]

...Fine, you're right. I'm sorry. I'll tell you everything that happened.

[Phoenix goes to take a seat.]

Do you remember that robotic friend of ours who contacted us not too long ago?

[prosecutory]

[Edgeworth sits down beside Phoenix and nods, drawing out his organizer and a pen from his jacket pocket.]

I do, yes. The one encouraging us to take sides?

[bewrightback]

[Phoenix nods.]

Or at least it looked the same. We didn't get to exchange pleasantries... It shoved me through a door, and then I was trapped in this very odd room with a group of other people. Hiro Hamada, Kashuu and two others I hadn't met before.

[prosecutory]

What made it so odd?

[Edgeworth keeps writing. Hiro and Kashuu, huh...but the other two were people Phoenix didn't know.]

Well, we all found ourselves on what looked like the setting of some kind of really shady film complete with a video camera. There was also a broken down robot with a love for birds and one companion's hair, and we also found some hidden laboratory areas.

[prosecutory]

[...what kinda robot is that.]

Did you find anything of note in these laboratory areas?

[bewrightback]

[A snuffbot, of course.]

Well, there was a lot of technology in there, unlike anything we've seen from CERES. There was also another robot that was turned off, but it was similar to those servant robots according to Hiro. Some AI-related materials were also missing from one of the shelves. And... we also found this odd orb that ended up being our ticket out of there.

[prosecutory]

How so?

[He's still writing. Even if he could just be typing this up, nothing beats good ol' writing.]

[bewrightback]

Well... That's one of the odd parts. When we touched it, it ended up teleporting us outside. But it showed us this strange vision first - of what seemed to be a dead world. And we heard something about... about someone waiting for someone else.

[prosecutory]

A dead world...

[Edgeworth pauses briefly before carrying on with writing.]

Did it look familiar in any way?

[bewrightback]

Well... No. I mean, I'm no astrologist, but it just looked very... barren, and featureless.

[prosecutory]

So, it wasn't the same world you saw before the Powerpoint presentation and your very first arrival in Cerealia?

[bewrightback]

[He rubs at his head uncertainly.]

...I don't know. I don't... think so?

[prosecutory]

I see.

Someone waiting for someone else...you say you heard it. Can you describe the voice?

[bewrightback]

... The voice that said "Wait for me" sounded... I want to say robotic? [He squints as he tries to remember.] Beyond that, I can't really remember for sure.

[prosecutory]

If that's all you remember...

[Edgeworth closes his eyes briefly and groans softly.]

We will need to speak to the others who disappeared. They were probably sent to different locations.

[bewrightback]

[He nods.]

Right. That sounds like the most likely possibility... Who knows what other kinds of clues they might have found!

[prosecutory]

We can only imagine what else they discovered...or what sort of places they were in.

You mentioned that Hiro escaped with you; let's see if we can contact the others now.

[bewrightback]

That's right! [He nods.] Let's go figure it out, Edgeworth! [He pulls out his cerevice as he turns to leave.]

[prosecutory]

I'll let you know if I find out anything new.

[He nods as well.]
